Sydney Water is hiring a Senior Spatial Information Specialist on a 12-month fixed-term contract from Parramatta with hybrid work. You’ll provide expert spatial advice to support the Asset Management System and Asset Information System, manage spatial data to standards, perform advanced spatial analysis, and drive continuous improvement while meeting SLAs and KPIs. The role requires tertiary or trade qualifications in Spatial Sciences, experience administering spatial applications, proficiency with GIS platforms such as ArcGIS, MapInfo, FME and GE Smallworld, and strong SQL and programming fundamentals. About the role
This role delivers specialist expertise to support spatial information needs in the delivery of Sydney Water’s Asset Management System (AMS) and Asset Information System (AIS). It contributes to achieving asset management objectives and the broader vision of creating better lives through world-class water services.
You will provide technical subject matter expertise in spatial data and analysis and plays a key role in driving continuous improvement initiatives.
