Transport for NSW is seeking a Senior Statutory Reporting Accountant to join our Sydney team on a full-time onsite basis. In this role you will prepare and deliver statutory reports that comply with accounting standards and legislative requirements, ensure leases are fully and accurately accounted for, and provide financial reporting to Treasury for Sydney Metro using PRIME. You bring proven experience delivering statutory financial reporting within complex organisations, strong written and verbal communication to engage a broad range of stakeholders, and solid systems knowledge with MS Word and Excel; exposure to PRIME, SAP or OneStream is highly regarded. In this role, you'll:

 

  • Prepare and deliver statutory reports that comply with relevant accounting standards and legislative requirements.

 

  • Ensure leases are completely and accurately accounted for in accordance with the accounting standards, supporting robust financial governance.

 

  • Prepare and deliver financial reporting to Treasury for Sydney Metro using PRIME.

About you

 

  • You bring demonstrated experience in delivering statutory financial reporting services within complex organisations.

 

  • You have strong written and verbal communication skills and are confident engaging with a broad range of stakeholders.

 

  • You have solid systems knowledge including MS Word and Excel, with exposure to PRIME, SAP and/or OneStream highly regarded.
