Steering contracts on the E-7 program

As part of the E-7 business division, the role centers on leading the program’s contract execution within the delivery leadership team, shaping sourcing approaches for defence and aviation goods and services, and planning, drafting and managing contracts of varying complexity. You’ll actively engage with internal and external stakeholders, cultivate relationships with Boeing focal points and suppliers, and drive on-time performance and compliance. You’ll also participate in risk identification and mitigation and ensure alignment with supply chain management and program governance policies.

The essentials you bring

  • Five to eight years or more in contracts management, with exposure to engineering or project delivery being highly desirable
  • A bachelor’s degree in law, commerce or business
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • A solid understanding of contracting tasks and how they interact with other project activities such as engineering, logistics and finance
  • A proven ability to collaborate effectively with both internal teams and external stakeholders
  • Australian citizenship due to Defence security requirements

The good-to-haves

  • Experience in an engineering or project delivery setting would be a bonus
  • Familiarity with defence or aviation procurement processes would help
