aioneers is seeking a Senior Supply Chain Consultant Automotive to join its international team in Munich and help drive AI-powered improvements across supply chains. The company combines advisory work with advanced analytics and solutions to transform how organizations manage their operations, planning and strategy. They emphasize a culture built on initiative, collaboration and learning, with a strong focus on diversity and ownership of outcomes.

The role partners with leading OEMs and automotive suppliers, and also serves other manufacturing sectors, to redesign global supply chains from strategy to execution. You’ll work in a multi-disciplinary, globally distributed consulting team, contributing ideas and helping shape how the firm approaches client work. If you enjoy solving complex problems, collaborating with diverse stakeholders, and making a tangible impact for clients, this could be a fit.

Located onsite in Munich, the position suits someone who wants hands-on client engagement, the chance to influence across functions, and the opportunity to grow alongside experienced colleagues in a fast-moving environment.

Shaping end-to-end supply chains in automotive

On a typical day, you’ll break down intricate end-to-end supply-chain questions, turning data and ambiguity into clear problem definitions and actionable options. You’ll design and implement practical solutions in areas like inventory management, S&OP, demand forecasting, master planning and supply chain controlling, then help clients move those ideas into reality. You’ll pair strategic advice with hands-on delivery, guiding projects and coordinating with client stakeholders at both specialist and leadership levels. As part of the team, you’ll also contribute to evolving the firm’s consulting methods, assets and tools to keep delivering client value.

What we’re looking for

  • Master’s degree in a related field such as industrial engineering, information systems, supply chain management or business administration
  • At least four years of relevant supply chain experience in the automotive sector, ideally in consulting or industry roles
  • Strong analytical chops, a structured way of thinking and solid problem-solving ability
  • Solid end-to-end understanding of supply-chain processes from supplier to customer
  • High affinity for digital technologies, especially advanced analytics, mathematical modelling and data-driven planning
  • Experience in project work, ideally with responsibility for sub-projects
  • Persuasive communication and presentation skills with a professional presence
  • Very proficient use of MS PowerPoint and Excel
  • Fluent in German and English

What you’ll gain and practical details

There is a compelling participation program that lets you share in the company’s success, and the company offers permanent contracts to support long-term growth. You’ll receive day-one support from inspiring colleagues and mentors as you settle in, with a culture that values diversity and inclusion. Family-friendly working-time models and flexible arrangements, including the option for mobile work, are part of the arrangements, along with a generous vacation policy (30+2 days) to help with balance. The package also includes a robust insurance offering that complements private retirement and disability coverage through a direct insurance arrangement, plus modern equipment like up-to-date notebooks and mobile phones to support collaboration. Team events and sports activities are common, helping colleagues connect beyond project work.

Tips to help you stand out

Lead with your Master’s degree and your automotive SCM track record. Put the degree and your four+ years of relevant experience up front on your resume, and highlight the industries you’ve served and the types of projects you’ve led.

Show a concrete, end-to-end project where you owned the delivery from supplier to customer. Describe how you tackled inventory, S&OP, forecasting or master planning, and what measurable outcomes you achieved for the client.

Be ready to discuss your digital toolkit and how you’ve used advanced analytics, mathematical modelling or data-driven planning to solve real problems. The more you can tie these tools to tangible results, the better.

Have a thoughtful question ready about how aioneers evolves its assets and consulting methods, and how you might contribute to digitalization and AI/ML initiatives within client engagements. A good question shows you’re thinking about long-term impact and the firm’s growth path.
