SIA Response Team - Greater Manchester
G4SG4S Events is hiring for SIA Response Team Officers to join teams serving high-profile events in and around Manchester, including Burnley FC, and other venues across the Greater Manchester region. This is an on-site, full-time role with the kind of flexibility you’d expect at events, including evenings and weekends.
If you already hold an SIA Door Supervisor Licence and have at least 12 months’ experience in a response-type role or nightlife hospitality, this could be a great match for you. You’ll be part of a security crew that supports visitors and staff, keeps crowds safe, and helps to run smooth, well-managed events in a fast-paced environment.
The work can involve travel to events across the UK when needed, and you’ll find opportunities to work at football and cricket matches, as well as music concerts. If you enjoy being the visible, friendly face of safety and you’re comfortable handling incidents and conflict management, you could fit right in.
Protecting crowds at major events in the region
On shift you’ll be the approachable safety presence, helping to control crowds, manage cease-points, and protect licensed and hospitality areas. You’ll actively monitor visitor behaviour, intervene calmly when disruptions occur, and supervise entry points to prevent prohibited items from entering secure zones. When incidents arise, you’ll respond professionally, de-escalate conflicts, and support a safe, enjoyable experience for attendees and staff alike.
The role calls for you to handle ejections when necessary and to communicate clearly with colleagues and venue teams to keep operations running smoothly. You’ll need to be ready to work in varied environments, from bars and clubs to large arenas, and to adapt quickly to changing crowd dynamics while maintaining professional standards.
