Queensland Rail is seeking a permanent Signal Electrician in Fairfield within the Signals Maintenance team. You will install, maintain and fault find signalling equipment, report on asset condition and performance to ensure safe operation across the SEQ region. Expect a rolling 7 week roster with Sunday to Friday shifts and penalties apply; roster changes may occur to meet business needs. Desirable but not mandatory is a Cert IV Electrical Railway Signalling (internal training available), along with a Queensland Electrical Mechanic Licence and a C Class Driver Licence. Strong organisational and time management skills with the ability to work well in a team are essential. About the Team:
Our Signals Maintenance team have a permanent Signal Electrician role located at Fairfield. In this role you will carry out the installation, maintenance and repair of all signalling equipment and report on the performance and condition of the signalling asset to ensure it's safe and effective operation in the SEQ region.
The team currently work a rolling 7-week roster, Sunday to Friday Shifts: 5:00am – 2:30pm | 2:00pm – 11:30pm | 8:30pm – 6:00am. Penalties rates apply. This roster can change with business requirements.
