Hindmarsh Construction is recruiting a Site Engineer for a full-time on-site role in Bungendore to coordinate activities on a new, significant project, supporting the Project Manager and the site team. You will schedule and resource technical work, liaise with subcontractors, control and issue project documentation, contribute to technical detailing and problem solving, and monitor on-site testing and quality control while assisting trades coordination. To be considered, you should hold a Bachelor degree in Engineering, Construction or Project Management or equivalent, have prior site-based experience in Bungendore, and hold a Construction White Card and Asbestos Awareness; AutoCAD and CHEOPS experience is preferred. The opportunity:

We are currently seeking a Site Engineer to coordinate site activities on a new and significant project. In this role you will assist the Project Manager and site team manage construction site activities. Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Schedule, plan, forecast, resource and manage all technical activities on site
  • Liaise with subcontractors in the planning, construction and completion phases of construction projects
  • Control and issue project documentation
  • Contribute to technical detailing and problem solving
  • Monitor technical implementation, testing and quality control on site
  • Assist in the coordination and management of trades

 To be considered, you will possess the following skills and experience:

  • Bachelor Degree in Engineering, Construction or Project Management or equivalent trade experience
  • Previous experience in a site based role - Bungendore
  • Understanding of the principles of engineering, construction and architecture
  • Construction White Card & Asbestos Awareness
  • Previous experience using systems such as AutoCAD, CHEOPS
