Transport for NSW is looking for a Senior Manager Data Sharing Risk and Security to lead enterprise data sharing, risk and security strategy, ensuring safe data access with strong governance across the data and AI lifecycle. You’ll develop and oversee data risk frameworks, controls, data sharing agreements, audits, incident response and enterprise reporting, and engage senior stakeholders to align business, cyber, privacy and data teams for secure, value driven data use. The ideal candidate has extensive data risk, security and compliance experience in complex organisations, with proven leadership and a track record of building risk programs and driving improvement. In this role, you'll:

You will be involved in leading enterprise data sharing, risk and security strategy, ensuring safe access to data while maintaining strong governance, compliance and risk management across the data and AI lifecycle.

 
You will support the development and oversight of data risk frameworks, controls and compliance activities, including data sharing agreements, audits, incident response and enterprise reporting.

 
You will be responsible for engaging senior stakeholders and governance forums, driving alignment across business, cyber, privacy and data teams to enable secure, value-driven data use across the organisation.

About you

You have extensive experience in data risk, security and compliance within complex organisations, with strong knowledge of frameworks, regulations and data governance practices.

 
You have excellent stakeholder engagement and leadership skills, with the ability to influence senior leaders and operate across enterprise governance and cross-functional teams.

 
You are highly analytical and strategic, with experience developing risk frameworks, managing audits and driving continuous improvement across data and AI environments.
