Transport for NSW is seeking a Senior Manager Regulatory Insights & Reporting to lead the regulatory reporting strategy for platform services in Parramatta, ensuring accuracy, timeliness and compliance while delivering data driven insights to executives. You’ll establish governance, define reporting standards, oversee multi source data integration and drive automation using Snowflake, Matillion, IBM Cognos and AWS Glue within a secure, highly governed environment. In this role, you'll:


Provide strategic leadership in regulatory reporting and insights for platform services, setting the reporting strategy and ensuring compliance with government standards. You’ll be accountable for the accuracy, integrity, and timeliness of regulatory data, while enabling data-driven decision-making through high-quality insights. Operating with significant autonomy, you’ll establish governance frameworks, approve reporting standards, and escalate key regulatory risks as needed.

Develop and implement reporting strategies aligned with legislative requirements, and lead the design and delivery of executive dashboards and insights. You’ll ensure strong data governance across multiple platforms, integrating data sources and maintaining high standards of quality and compliance. Leveraging technologies such as Snowflake, Matillion, IBM Cognos, and AWS Glue, you’ll drive automation, continuous improvement, and innovation in reporting processes while managing data warehousing solutions and vendor partnerships.

Navigate complex challenges such as evolving regulatory requirements, multi-source data integration, and balancing transparency with data privacy and security. You’ll manage relationships with regulators and internal stakeholders, oversee risk and compliance activities, and lead and mentor reporting teams to build capability and foster innovation. Your success will depend on delivering accurate, secure, and insightful reporting within a dynamic and highly governed technology environment.

About you


You bring a degree in Data Analytics, Information Systems, or a related field, along with certifications in regulatory compliance or data governance. You meet baseline security clearance requirements and apply your knowledge of regulatory frameworks, data governance, analytics, and reporting technologies to deliver accurate and compliant outcomes. You use your experience to confidently work across complex reporting environments and improve how data is governed and used.

You build strong relationships with senior leaders, business and data teams, regulators, and external partners. You act as a trusted point of contact for regulatory reporting, keeping stakeholders aligned and informed. You communicate clearly, collaborate effectively, and ensure reporting requirements are understood, met, and continuously improved.

You operate at an advanced level in how you deliver results, build relationships, and show personal capability. You bring sound judgement, practical thinking, and a focus on outcomes, while also supporting people leadership and financial management when needed. You contribute to growing team capability and strengthening reporting practices so they stay effective, compliant, and fit for purpose.
