Nothing is seeking a Social Media Art Director in London to own end-to-end social campaigns, shape strategy, direct on set shoots and video, and mentor a small, fast moving team while keeping the Nothing aesthetic human and expressive. The ideal candidate has a strong tech or fashion portfolio, demonstrated ownership of shoots with limited direction, and the ability to lead with mood boards and clear POVs for senior stakeholders. You’ll bring established relationships with photographers and 3D designers, high proficiency in Photoshop, solid video editing for multiple platforms, and a pragmatic production mindset. To apply, share cohesive case studies of end-to-end delivery and cross functional collaboration, and show how you stay ahead of culture. This is an onsite role in London five days a week within a 60 minute commute.

About Nothing

Nothing exists to make tech feel exciting again.

We’re building a different kind of technology company, one that puts design, emotion, and human creativity at the heart of everything we do. From the way our products look and feel to how we communicate and show up in culture, we believe technology should make you feel something.

Founded in London in 2020, we’ve grown from idea to global challenger in just a few years. Backed by GV (Google Ventures), EQT Ventures, and C Ventures, and investors like Tony Fadell (iPod), Casey Neistat, and Kevin Lin (Twitch), we’re now sold in 40+ markets with millions of users worldwide.

About the Team

The Social team at Nothing is a small, independent group of creators, strategists, and thinkers who move fast to build something better. We don’t do "corporate" social; we make content designed to inspire and spark emotion. Currently, we are tackling the challenge of making tech feel human again—translating complex hardware engineering into sharp, playful, and expressive digital stories. We’re looking for a Social Media Art Director who understands that if a post looks like it came from a legacy tech company, it shouldn’t come from us.

What You'll Do

  • Lead the creative for social-first projects by building pioneering ideas from initial concept to final delivery.
  • Shape social strategies and challenge briefs to ensure our creative vision meets real business needs without losing its soul.
  • Direct on-set photoshoots and video productions to ensure every frame captures the Nothing aesthetic.
  • Act as the social creative voice in the room, collaborating with internal teams to ensure all campaign extensions are inherently social.
  • Guide and nurture junior team members, helping them scale their craft and take ownership of their creative output.
  • Stay ahead of cultural trends and new technologies to create content that shows what innovation should feel like.
  • Manage multiple high-impact projects simultaneously, ensuring every detail is sharp and delivered at an unprecedented pace.

What We're Looking For

  • You have a robust portfolio that proves you can create social-first ideas with impeccable craft and taste, preferably within tech or fashion.
  • You show true ownership by managing shoot productions and conceptualising ideas with limited direction, even when things move fast.
  • You are an expert at communicating a clear point of view to senior stakeholders, using mood boards and presentations to lead the way.
  • You have established relationships with photographers, 3D designers, and creators who can help us build something better.
  • You strive for excellence in your technical skills, with high proficiency in Photoshop and a deep understanding of video editing for different platforms.
  • You take a pragmatic approach to production, collaborating with teams to ensure ideas are feasible while maintaining our high brand standards.
  • You are an inclusive team player who motivates others and brings a positive energy to a small, independent team.
