About the opportunity:

We’re looking for a Mid-Level Software Engineer to join our growing engineering team in a permanent role. You’ll work across modern, eventdriven, serverless architectures and help build highly scalable distributed systems. 

This role is perfect for engineers with a strong foundation who want to deepen their skills in cloud-native development. 

What You’ll Work On 

  • Designing and building event-driven, serverless applications 
  • Developing backend services using Go 
  • Deploying infrastructure using AWS CDK 
  • Building and optimising AWS Lambda–based workloads 
  • Collaborating with product and platform teams to deliver high-quality features 
  • Writing clean, well-tested, maintainable code 
  • Participating in code reviews and sharing knowledge within the team 

Must-Have Skills 

  • Proficiency in Go (Golang) 
  • Hands-on experience with AWS CDK 
  • Strong experience building with AWS Lambda 
  • Solid understanding of event-driven architectures (e.g., EventBridge, SNS/SQS, streams) 
  • Experience with serverless patterns and best practices 
  • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and modern DevOps tooling 
  • Experience with Svelte will be an advantage 
  • Good problemsolving skills and a collaborative mindset
