As a Software Technical Lead, you will influence the development of our mobile technology ensuring high performance, quality, and responsiveness. Mentor and guide a team of skilled mobile developers, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement. Apply your expertise in iOS and backend development to architect, build, and evolve scalable, production-grade solutions.

The Software Technical Lead will oversee the software development lifecycle, from planning and design to deployment and maintenance, ensuring timely delivery of high-quality products. You will work closely with product managers, designers, and other stakeholders to define technical requirements and deliver features that align with business goals. Stay current with industry trends and emerging technologies, continually integrating new ideas and best practices to enhance our mobile applications. Identify and resolve complex technical challenges, ensuring the stability and reliability of our applications.

You’ll have:

  • Experience in Technical Leadership, and demonstrable ability to motivate self and others with a passion to mentor.
  • Demonstrated experience designing, building, and supporting large-scale, business-critical applications within complex enterprise environments.
  • Strong technical understanding and expertise in mobile app development and delivery.
  • Deep knowledge of iOS application development in Swift using technologies and tools like SwiftUI, Async/Await, SPM, Swift Concurrency and Push Notifications
  • Working experience with back-end technologies preferred (i.e Node, Java, Spring / Spring Boot, etc and databases PostgreSQL, DynamoDB, etc).
  • Proven expertise in designing testable software and applying effective automated testing strategies to deliver high-quality, reliable applications.
  • Familiarity with leveraging AI-assisted development workflows across the software development lifecycle to improve productivity, code quality, and delivery outcomes.
  • Experience with SOLID principles and common patterns such as MVVM
  • Understanding of cloud native development on platforms such as AWS, including deployment, scaling, and operational considerations
  • Containerisation technology concepts, such as Docker and Kubernetes
  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines (preferably GitHub Actions), version control, and automated testing practices.
  • A real passion for quality, clean code and continuous improvement
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to communicate technical requirements effectively to the business and across multidisciplinary teams
  • Strong ability to forge and reinforce strong software engineering principles and best practices
  • Confidence in applying patterns, techniques and approaches that ensure high-quality, highly flexible software.
  • The ability to balance technical and communication skills and adjust to your audience.
  • Attention to detail and a quality-focused mindset.
  • An approachable attitude to educate, mentor and influence the team..
