Te Tūranga – About the role
We’re looking for a Supply Chain Solution Architect to join our Business Systems & Platform team, with a strong focus on Blue Yonder Warehouse Management and Transport Management platforms.
This role is functionally driven first, bringing deep understanding of supply chain operations and best‑practice processes, while guiding integration, data, and architectural standards across our enterprise landscape.
You'll shape how core supply chain functions operate across Blue Yonder, SAP S/4HANA, and connected platforms, ensuring our solutions are scalable, reliable, and future‑ready.
In this role, you will:
·         Lead solution design for WMS and TMS, ensuring alignment to business processes across inbound, outbound, inventory control, receiving, pick/pack/ship, yard management, fleet planning, carrier management, and transport execution.·         Translate supply chain operational requirements into practical, scalable architectures, guiding functional consultants, operations leaders, and technology teams through solution options.·         Work with developers, integration teams, and platform owners to enable supportable, visible end‑to‑end integrations across Blue Yonder, SAP S/4HANA, BTP/CPI, APIs, and automation tools.·          Define and govern solution architecture standards for supply chain platforms, supporting clean‑core principles and consistent design patterns.·         Apply architectural frameworks including LeanIX, Signavio, and Blue Yonder implementation methodologies to deliver high‑quality outcomes.·         Partner with Enterprise and Principal Architects to shape our long‑term supply chain technology roadmap, including automation, optimisation, IoT, telematics, real‑time visibility platforms, and cloud evolution.·         Act as a trusted advisor on supply chain best practices, platform extensibility, upgrade approaches, and new capability enablement (e.g. Analytics, machine learning forecasting, optimisation engines).

You're an experienced Solution Architect with strong capability across supply chain platforms and a deep understanding of distribution centre and logistics operations. With 5+ years of leading solution design, you're skilled at connecting with and influencing cross‑functional teams, ready to shape future‑state supply chain processes and system landscapes.
You’ll bring:
·         Strong experience as a Solution Architect or Senior Functional Consultant in supply chain, warehouse, or transport management domains.·         Expertise in Blue Yonder WMS, or TMS, including Transportation Planner/TMOD (or equivalent tier‑1 supply chain platforms).·         Deep understanding of distribution centre, warehousing and logistics processes, inbound, outbound, slotting, labour, transport planning, fleet and carrier management, load building, visibility, etc.·         Experience integrating BY platforms with ERP systems (ideally SAP S/4HANA), automation, and third‑party logistics systems.·         Ability to influence decision‑making and guide stakeholders through complex solution scenarios.·         Familiarity with integration platforms (API‑led integrations) from an architectural perspective.·         A passion for building modern, resilient, scalable supply chain capabilities that support real business outcomes.
