You’ll optimise cost, quality, innovation, and supply by building influential supplier relationships while tracking cost drivers, commodity movements, and market trends to identify opportunities for savings and competitive advantage. The ideal candidate has FMCG or retail procurement experience, strong analytics, and proven negotiation and supplier-management skills, plus solid project management and stakeholder influence. We’re looking for an experienced and commercially savvy Sourcing & Procurement Manager to join our Own Brands team. In this role, you’ll be responsible for delivering best cost price outcomes across a portfolio of Own Brand products while supporting category strategies and driving long-term value for our co-operatives and customers.
You’ll lead supplier negotiations, tenders, and sourcing initiatives, working closely with Category Product Managers, Product Developers, and suppliers to optimise cost, quality, innovation, and supply outcomes.
Success in this role requires strong commercial acumen, exceptional negotiation skills, and the ability to build influential stakeholder relationships. You’ll maintain a deep understanding of category cost drivers, commodity movements, supplier capability, and market trends while identifying opportunities to improve supplier performance, reduce costs, and create competitive advantage.
