Switzerland - St. Moritz

Kempinski Hotels, a name with a long tradition in luxury hospitality, operates properties worldwide and is known for refined service and European elegance. In St. Moritz, the group is expanding its winter team with a Spa Attendant (f/m/d) for the 2026/2027 season, on a seasonal full-time basis and working onsite at the resort’s spa facilities.

The role sits in the Spa & Recreation department and is designed for someone who cares as much about guest experience as about maintaining spotless, safe wellness spaces. The position calls for advising international guests, keeping treatment rooms pristine, and overseeing the pool, sauna and fitness areas to ensure smooth operations during busy periods.

It's a good fit for someone who holds themselves to high standards, enjoys guest interaction, and thrives within a well-coordinated team in a luxury hotel setting.

Welcoming guests on the spa floor

You’ll greet and advise guests from around the world, guiding them through spa options and maintaining a calm, welcoming environment. Daily responsibilities include tidying and sanitising treatment rooms and common spa areas, while upholding strict safety, hygiene and cleanliness standards across the wellness spaces. You’ll also monitor the pool, sauna and fitness areas to ensure comfort and safety for all guests.

What Kempinski is seeking

Here's the baseline for the ideal candidate.

  • Formal training as a pool attendant or sauna attendant, with initial professional experience in a similar role.
  • Proven ability to clean and maintain pool and spa facilities.
  • Enjoys working as part of a team.
  • Stays composed under pressure, demonstrates professionalism, keeps spaces clean and maintains a high standard of quality.
  • Uses a methodical, organized approach to tasks.
  • Focuses on guest satisfaction and service.
  • Proficient in German and English; additional languages are an advantage.

Nice to have: additional language abilities beyond German and English would be helpful.

Living in the Engadine and the perks waiting for you

The role is seasonal and full-time, onsite in the heart of the Engadine Alps. Kempinski highlights a broad set of employee benefits across its hotels, including staff accommodation near the property with washing facilities, a fitness area and a communal room, and meals in the staff restaurant. There are laundry facilities, a kitchenette and meals as part of the staff dining options. In addition, there is free use of the in-house childcare centre for employees' children, plus monthly activities such as skiing, snowboarding and cross-country skiing courses, hiking excursions, spa evenings and German courses. An internal Feel Good Committee supports welfare issues, while Life Cube training and career development are available. There is also an incentive programme for cosmetics sales and private training sessions for guests, and the chance to stay in Kempinski Group hotels worldwide at discounted rates, with staff catering at an attractive price.

Guidance for your application

Lead with your formal training as a pool or sauna attendant and highlight any hands-on experience in a spa setting on your resume so the hiring team sees your fit right away.

Back up the must-have skills with concrete examples from past roles, such as a busy shift where you kept treatment rooms spotless while supervising safety or a time you supported a team to uphold hygiene standards during peak periods.

Be ready to discuss how you interact with guests in multilingual environments, how you maintain high levels of cleanliness and safety, and how you handle pressure in a luxury spa context, including any use of German and English in daily work.

Ask a targeted question that shows you’ve thought about the winter season 2026/2027, for example: what does a typical Spa Attendant shift look like during peak weeks, and how does the team coordinate between pool, sauna and fitness areas?
