CPKC is seeking a Specialist, Data Management in Calgary onsite to join the Business Intelligence and Data Analytics team. You’ll support reporting and data warehouse solutions across real-time sensor, transactional, master and aggregated data, enabling data driven decisions and exposure to AI and ML initiatives. You will partner with analysts, architects and developers to translate requirements into scalable data solutions, ensure data accuracy, standardize reporting, and advance data governance. A university degree (CS, IS, Engineering or equivalent) and 7+ years in data management with SQL, ETL, data mining, and storytelling with data for non technical audiences are required. PURPOSE OF THE POSITION:
The Specialist, Data Management will join the Business Intelligence and Data Analytics team in Calgary, supporting the development and delivery of reporting and data warehouse solutions. The team works with a broad range of data, including real-time sensor, transactional, master, and aggregated data, enabling data-driven decision-making across the organization. This role also offers exposure to emerging technologies, including opportunities to contribute to Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Machine Learning initiatives.
In this position, the Data Management Specialist will collaborate with business analysts, business partners, architects, and developers to understand business requirements and help design, build, and support scalable data solutions. The role is focused on ensuring data accuracy, usability, and alignment with the company’s strategic objectives while driving continuous improvement in analytics capabilities.

Management Conductor Program
