Worley is seeking a Specialist Pipelines Engineer in Abu Dhabi, onsite, full time, to own technical assurance and contractor discipline delivery for marine pipelines. The role covers technical integrity, audits, design and concession reviews, contractor document approvals, and supporting procurement, construction, commissioning and handover activities. You’ll run discipline progress meetings, resolve technical queries, and ensure compliance with codes, standards and safety in design. Requirements: bachelor’s degree in engineering, about 15 years in the discipline with at least 5 years in a PMC or EPC role on major Oil & Gas projects, GCC/UAE experience preferred, fluent English, and proficiency with CII, MicroStation, AutoCAD, Navisworks. Job Purpose:
The Specialist Pipelines engineer is responsible for the technical assurance & compliance of the CONTRACTOR to the COMPANY’s specific discipline scope, specifications, respective governing codes & standards & industry best practices. Roles & responsibilities includes reviews & approvals of discipline related documentation, participation in discipline progress meetings with Contractor counter-part, Planned design review sessions, review & resolution of discipline specific technical queries, verification of discipline specific concession requests (as applicable) & provide input (approval or rejection) with justification.
Support Procurements activities & relevant documents review & approvals, VENDOR documents review, physical inspection as required.
Support Construction & commissioning activities by involvement in respective Discipline inspections & punch listing activities as applicable for release of respective certifications (DAC/MC,,etc.)
Verification of Final discipline specific Documentation & Database at handover & confirm completeness & correctness.
