Teck Resources is seeking a Sr. Technician, Metallurgy & Technology (Temporary) for Trail Operations in Trail, BC. This on site role provides technical support for process improvement via laboratory, pilot and plant testing, data analysis, troubleshooting and collaboration with operations, maintenance and engineering. Qualifications include a degree in metallurgical, mineral processing or chemical sciences or ASTTBC certification, eight+ years of relevant experience, lab, pilot and plant equipment experience, strong organization and time management, and MS Office proficiency; familiarity with Trail data systems or metallurgical modelling is a plus. Reporting to the Superintendent, Process Optimization, the Sr. Technician, Metallurgy & Technology (Temporary) provides technical support for process improvement, technology development, and operational performance initiatives across Trail Operations. This role conducts laboratory, pilot, and plant-scale investigations; analyzes process data; supports troubleshooting activities; and collaborates with operations, maintenance, and engineering teams to identify and implement process improvements safely and efficiently.
Pay Range: $106,368 - $114,984
The actual amount offered is determined based on the successful candidate’s relevant experience, skills, and competencies and considers internal equity.
