Te kaupapa o te tūranga – About the role 

This is a permanent part-time position with the following hours of work:

  • Monday - Friday: 8:00am - 1:00pm

As a Stockroom Team Member, you'll be the driving force behind ensuring our stock is organized and ready for sale. Your meticulous attention to detail and commitment to maintaining a tidy and efficient stockroom will be key to our success.

Candidates with F endorsed or full New Zealand driver's license are preferred as operating a forklift is a requirement of the role (we can send team members on a training course to gain a forklift endorsement).

Your responsibilities will include the following: 

  • Ensuring all stock received is processed appropriately and within the appropriate guidelines. 
  • Ensure the stockroom area is swept and maintained.
  • Manage palettes and stock being delivered appropriately using a forklift. 
  • Processing recycling and other waste correctly. 
  • Adhere to health and safety standards. 
  • Understand the importance of positive team dynamics. 

You'll also understand the importance of teamwork and will contribute to positive working relationships with our Shopfloor and Fill teams.

Qualifications

To excel in this role, you ideally have:

  • Interest in stockroom coordination
  • Ability to pay close attention to detail
  • Physical capability to handle heavy lifting, climb ladders, and stand for extended periods
