We're looking for an experienced retail leader who maintains high standards of themselves and their staff to drive excellence in our Manawa Bay Factory Outlet in Auckland, NZ.
The ideal candidate must be able to confidently present themselves and their store to a high standard and work efficiently to support a wide variety of customers and key stakeholders.
Retail Leaders are expected to lead from the front, inspire success in all areas of people management and store management.
Responsibilities include:
Managing, motivating and leading the team to achieve KPI’s, sales targets and an exceptional customer experience.
Take full ownership of the store and its commercial success, ensuring all team are cognizant of store performance results, data, objectives and action plans.
Analyze relevant data to probe and challenge the status quo.
Address identified improvement areas to maximise commercial impact, involving the District Manager or other Retail Back Office partners as needed.
Drive continuous improvements in the store’s sales, productivity and profitability, identifying ways to remain most productive and efficient and actioning them.
Lead service by example, maximizing time spent selling and leading team on the sales floor.
Work with the District Manager to identify and develop select strong performers with potential for growth along the Retail Field Career Ladder
Conducting staff training & coaching to drive KPI performance and brand knowledge and awareness.
Effectively managing all retail operations within a retail store environment, empowering team contribution and skillset in the process.
Coordinate team members to consistently execute and maintain established Visual Merchandising and In-Store Communication standards.
Coordinate team members to ensure most efficient inventory processing procedures and a seamless stock-to-floor process.
Collaborate with internal stakeholders and brand partners to ensure professional and adequate department support at a store level.
The successful candidate:
You will have a commercial mindset and strong retail background with a proven track record of success in a similar retail leadership position, consistently leading a team to achieve budgeted sales.
You will be motivated, energetic, results driven and passionate about people and product. You will also be confident working in a fast paced, high-exposure concept store, leading store walk-throughs and liaising with brand leaders and stakeholders.
Experience in the following will be highly regarded:
Retail Store Manager experience representing men’s/women’s global brand, preferably in sports would be desirable.
You have experience as a leader in coaching and mentoring your team to succeed.
