Job Description

About the role

We are seeking a Stores Person for our site in Wee Waa. We’re looking for someone who’s confident working in a busy warehouse environment and enjoys keeping things moving smoothly. In this role, you’ll be hands‑on with receiving, storing, and sending out goods, along with loading and unloading trucks. You’ll also help transport items to our Gins and Warehouses when needed.

You’ll use a computer and tablet‑based ERP system to manage purchase orders, receipting, and shipping — nothing too scary, just part of the day‑to‑day workflow. Most importantly, you’ll be someone who cares about doing the job safely and keeping things running efficiently.

Key responsibilities will be but not limited to:

  • Help keep the workplace safe — including equipment, vehicles, and general processes.
  • Deliver great service by following our company standards.
  • Load and unload vehicles safely and efficiently.
  • Receive, check, store, pack/unpack goods, and make sure paperwork and internal notifications are completed.
  • Move goods around the warehouse and building as needed.
  • Assist with annual and cyclical stocktakes to keep inventory accurate.
  • Pick and prepare STOT orders for site requirements.
  • Help improve store systems alongside the Store Manager.
  • Take part in shared on‑call duties during the ginning season.
  • Deliver goods to ginning sites when required.
  • Complete all required training and follow company policies.

Qualifications

Desired Skills and Experience:

  • Highly organised with strong attention to detail and the ability to meet supply deadlines.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build strong relationships across internal and external stakeholders.
  • problem-solving skills
  • Experience mentoring or supervising junior team members.
  • Strong computer skills with confidence in Excel desirable
  • Understanding of stock levels, control reorder points and management.

Qualifications

  • Forklift or the ability to obtain
