Foodstuffs South Island is hiring a Storeperson Inwards Goods for full-time, onsite work in Christchurch. The role focuses on delivering exceptional customer service, keeping a safe and tidy inwards goods area, and upholding Food and Health and Safety standards, while leading team members and handling forklift operations, goods receipting and stocktaking. Ideal candidates have inwards goods or storeperson experience, strong organisation and communication, current Forklift OSH Certification with F endorsement, ability to lift up to 20 kg, solid computer skills, and attention to detail. STOREPERSON / INWARDS GOODS

We are a large Supermarket located in a competitive area, seeking an innovative and customer-focused team member to join our Inwards Goods team. If you are physically fit, hardworking. have excellent attention to detail and can think on your feet then we would like to meet you. We would prefer someone with previous experience in inwards goods or storeperson roles.

The key responsibilities of these positions include:

• Delivering exceptional customer service
• Maintaining a safe and tidy inwards goods area
• Implementation and maintenance of Food and Health and Safety requirements
• Leading team members
• Forklift Operation
• Goods receipting
• Stocktaking
• Goods receipting

We are looking for the following attributes:

• Exceptional organisation and communication skills.
• Inwards goods/Storeperson experience.
• Current Forklift OSH Certification and F endorsement.
• Physically fit and able to lift up to 20kg.
• Excellent computer skills.
• A good eye for detail.
• Able to work in a demanding and high volume  environment.
• Ability to work in a team.
• An understanding of work place safety and food safety requirements.

The available shifts are as follows:

• Tuesday 6.00am to 3.00pm
• Wednesday 6.00am to 3.00pm
• Thursday 6.00am to 3.00pm
• Friday 6.00am to 3.00pm
• Saturday 6.00am to 3.00pm
