Coventry University invites applications for a permanent, full-time Student Welfare & Health Operations Coordinator to provide professional, customer-focused operational support within CU Academic Services in Coventry. You will be the first point of contact for students in need of wellbeing support, including mental health, disabilities, harassment and faith matters, and will handle front-of-house duties, timetables, exam arrangements and triage of sensitive cases. The successful candidate will bring solid administrative experience in a complex environment, excellent customer care under pressure, and strong IT skills (Word, Outlook, Teams). To provide a professional, customer focused, efficient, and effective Student Wellbeing operational support service to students, prospective students, staff, visitors, and external agencies.
The role will be the first point of contact for students including; disabled students and students in distress and at-risk, requiring Student Wellbeing support – Mental Health, Wellbeing and Disabilities, Harassment and Incident Support and Spirituality and Faith.
To undertake all operational support associated with the provision of Student Wellbeing support, including: front of house, work schedules, timetables, individual exam arrangements, the collection of funding, student appointments, triaging of sensitive/time-sensitive cases to relevant teams and resolving queries in a helpful and efficient manner.
You will have sound administrative experience within a complex organisation and enjoy working as part of a team.
You will demonstrate excellent customer care skills and have the ability to work under pressure.
You should have excellent IT skills in using Microsoft packages such as word, outlook, teams and other IT systems.
You will also understand the types of cases supported by Student Wellbeing and feel confident working in this environment.
