As a Vice President or Executive Director within Subsidiaries Sales – Trade & Working Capital team, you will act as the lead for the Trade & Working Capital subsidiaries franchise in Europe/UK. You will be responsible for driving momentum and growth across the entire cluster, serving as the primary relationship manager for large and mid-cap subsidiary clients whose Regional Treasury Centers are based in the Netherlands, Benelux, and oversight for the broader Europe/UK region. This senior role combines direct client coverage with strategic leadership, supporting the expansion and success of J.P. Morgan’s trade franchise in the region.
Job Responsibilities
- Lead the T&WC subsidiaries franchise in Europe/UK, driving growth strategies and business momentum across the cluster.
- Serve as the primary contact for large and mid-cap subsidiary clients in the Netherlands and Benelux regions.
- Identify, structure, and execute new opportunities in Supply Chain Finance, Receivables Finance, and structured trade solutions.
- Develop and implement account plans and relationship reviews to maximize wallet share and drive sales.
- Lead high-level meetings, presentations, and negotiations to deliver tailored, best-in-class financial solutions.
- Partner with Payments, Global Corporate Bank, Risk, Legal, and Compliance teams to ensure seamless onboarding and risk management.
- Oversee complex RFI/RFP responses, pricing strategies, and profitability models to maintain competitive market positioning.
- Monitor industry trends, regulatory changes, and regional market developments impacting subsidiary clients.
- Support and mentor junior team members, fostering a high-performance, collaborative culture.
- Build strong internal networks and external relationships with key decision-makers to enhance client satisfaction.
- Uphold the firm’s culture and conduct standards, ensuring strict adherence to all policies and procedures.
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills
- Extensive experience in Trade Finance, Transaction Banking, or Corporate Banking with a proven track record in large-cap sales.
- Deep understanding of working capital solutions and the regulatory landscape for multinational subsidiaries.
- Strong negotiation and influencing skills, with the ability to lead complex sales processes and strategic initiatives.
- Exceptional presentation and interpersonal skills, capable of engaging senior stakeholders.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver results under pressure within a matrixed global organisation.
- High degree of commercial acumen with a client-centric approach to problem-solving.
- Mastery of Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and banking CRM/reporting systems.
- Fluency in English is mandatory; additional fluency in a European language is strongly preferred.
