Hands-on supply chain role managing purchase orders, replenishment and logistics execution to keep product flowing from source to market.

Position Description

Our Story:

The a2 Milk Company, driven by science and a pioneering spirit, disrupted the dairy and infant milk formula industry. Our vision is to create an A1-free world where dairy nourishes all people and our planet.

The a2 Milk Company seeks to achieve this through the naturally occurring a2 Milk® difference and by bringing a more sustainable approach to dairy.

Your Role:

At The a2 Milk Company, we believe in doing dairy differently. Our brand is built on care – for our consumers, our partners, and the quality of every drop we produce. As we continue to grow, we are looking for a Supply Chain Co-ordinator to join our New Zealand-based Supply Chain team in Auckland.

Reporting to the Group Supply Chain Manager, this role plays a critical part in the day-to-day execution of our supply chain, ensuring product flows smoothly from source to market. You’ll be responsible for purchase order management, replenishment execution, and logistics coordination across domestic and export markets, working closely with internal stakeholders, third-party manufacturers and logistics partners.

This is a hands-on, detail-driven role suited to someone who enjoys processing, accuracy and keeping things moving — while still being connected to the bigger supply chain picture.

More specifically you will be involved in:

  • Creating, issuing and maintaining purchase orders in the ERP system to support production and replenishment plans
  • Monitoring PO status, following up with suppliers and internal teams to ensure on-time delivery and accurate fulfilment
  • Executing domestic and export replenishment activities, ensuring stock is delivered in full and on time to global distribution centres (NZ, Australia, China)
  • Processing goods receipting, resolving delivery or invoice discrepancies, and maintaining data integrity
  • Preparing and checking export and trade documentation, ensuring compliance with origin and destination requirements
  • Performing inventory reconciliations for assigned warehouses and reporting outcomes in line with agreed timelines
  • Providing clear, proactive updates on replenishment progress, risks and exceptions to key stakeholders
  • Supporting continuous improvement initiatives across supply chain processes and ways of working

What you will bring:

  • Experience in supply chain, logistics, procurement or replenishment coordination roles
  • Strong processing discipline, attention to detail and confidence working with high volumes of transactional data
  • Experience using ERP systems (Oracle or similar) and strong Excel skills
  • Understanding of purchase order management, goods receipting and inventory reconciliation processes
  • Exposure to export logistics and international trade documentation (advantageous but not essential)
  • A collaborative working style and the ability to build effective relationships across teams and with external partners

We are committed to enhancing our team members' work-life wellbeing with leading policies and practices on flexible work, parental leave, family care, and family wellbeing. This role can be worked flexibly, ensuring a healthy balance between work and personal life. Our family-friendly culture is designed to support workforce participation, career development, and mental health and wellbeing.
