MANTECH seeks a motivated, career and customer-oriented Supply Clerk to join our vehicle sustainment team in Kaiserslautern, Germany. The selected candidate will provide logistics support to multiple families of vehicles globally on the Allied Logistics Engineering Capabilities Sustainment (ALECS) program.

*Important Note*: Selected candidates without an ACTIVE German/E.U. Work Visa will be required to work the first 60 days in a Temporary role while obtaining their Visa. Once an E.U. Work Visa is approved, then you will be offered a Full-Time German Contract. If accepted, then you will be subjected to paying German taxes, obtaining German Healthcare, and working within the guidelines of the German labor system. 

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Working to help that the flow of shipments both inbound and outbound in the manner that is most cost effective.

  • Routing outbound delivered loads and inbound back-hauls.

  • Utilizing logistics software and referencing DOT regulations on hours of service.

  • Managing load utilization and coordinating common carrier activities.

  • Maintaining customer database and profile by customer location.

  • Updating information for each customer.

  • Maintaining customer delivery time windows and customer database network system.

  • Responsible for tracking raw materials.

  • Coordinating the distribution point of material for incoming and outgoing material.

  • Performing other related duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Must obtain or already have an active Germany/E.U. Work VISA to be considered.

  • 2+ years of qualified logistical experience and a High School diploma.

    • 1+ years of experience with GCSS-A (Global Combat Support System-Army) OR an integrated logistics and financial system used by the U.S. Army.

  • Experience in data entry to query and enter information for supply, acquisition, and inventory purposes, pull and stage equipment for shipment, package equipment for shipment and prepare the necessary paperwork, staging and shipping equipment for repair.

  • Experience in inventory and requisition supplies and maintaining stock of supplies and equipment, operating material and handling equipment and office productivity tools such as Microsoft Office Suite.

  • Ability to successfully pass a Pre-Employment Drug Screening; must possess a Valid Driver’s License for the location in which the work will be performed, a High School Diploma or GED, and a Passport valid for at least one year beyond the start date.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Familiarity with military or commercial logistics supply system as well as automated and manual supply systems and equipment serviceability standards and criteria.

  • Willingness to accept temporary US or OCONUS transfers to other assignments, if needed.

Clearance Requirements:

  • Must be able to obtain and maintain a Public Trust clearance prior to starting this position.

Physical Requirements:

  • Must be able to balance, bend, carry, crouch, stretch and kneel.

  • Must be able to push, pull, and reach.

  • Must be able to work in high noise areas.

  • Must be able to lift 50lbs and small parts.

  • Must be able to work with computers and CRTs, and type on a computer keyboard
