About the Role

As a Support Worker, you’ll play a vital role in enhancing the lives of people with disabilities and young individuals by providing tailored, person-centred support. Whether it’s daily living assistance, emotional guidance, or community engagement, your work will help create a more inclusive and compassionate society.

You’ll work across a 24/7 rotating roster, including sleepovers, active nights, weekends, and public holidays.

Key Responsibilities

  •         Deliver high-quality, individualised support to people with disabilities and young people
  •        Assist with personal care, mobility, and skill development
  •         Build meaningful connections and provide mentorship and emotional support
  •         Support community participation and recreational activities
  •         Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to implement support plans
  •         Advocate for customer rights and promote independence
  •         Create safe, trauma-informed environments for young people with complex needs

 What you’ll need Childrens Services

  • Passionate about human rights and creating positive change
  • Empathetic, compassionate, and resilient
  • Ecellent communication and teamwork skills
