Aruma is seeking casual Support Workers in Toowoomba for Home and Living, helping adults with disabilities in SIL homes.  About the Role:

You are a highly motivated and compassionate Support Worker with full and flexible availability to work across a 24/7 rotating roster that includes sleepovers, active nights, weekends, and public holidays. Casual positions are available at various Toowoomba locations.

As a Support Worker, you will play a crucial role in enhancing the lives of individuals with disabilities by providing personalised care and support tailored to their unique needs and goals. Key Responsibilities:

• Delivering high-quality support services to customers with disabilities.
• Assisting clients in their daily living activities, such as personal care, mobility, and skill development.
• Promoting community integration and supporting clients in accessing social and recreational activities.
• Collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to develop and implement individualised support plans.
• Encouraging independence and empowering clients to achieve their personal goals.
• Advocating for the rights and needs of individuals with disabilities.

About You:

•  Experience in disability, aged care, or family/community services
•  A current First Aid and CPR Certificate or willingness to obtain
•  Valid Driver’s Licence
•  NDIS Worker Check (or willingness to obtain)
•  Strong communication, empathy, and problem-solving skills
• Flexibility to work varied shifts, including weekends and public holidays
