Internship
On-site
Zürich, ZH

Anker Innovations, a global player in consumer electronics, is looking for a Swiss-Sales Manager to join its team in Zürich as an internship. The role works onsite and is arranged through an outsourced setup, giving you concrete exposure to how a major tech brand builds its Swiss footprint. This opportunity will appeal to someone who already has solid Swiss electronics sales experience and a knack for opening new channels, managing partnerships, and driving revenue.

If you enjoy negotiating with large retailers, sustaining key partner relationships (including Digitec), and collaborating with cross-functional teams to refine pricing and product mixes, this could be a good fit for you.

Charting the Swiss market path

On a day-to-day basis, you’ll help drive channel expansion by negotiating terms and shaping the business model with local players such as MediaMarkt, Swisscom, and Interdiscount. You’ll spearhead business discussions to secure partnerships and align on strategic direction, ensuring the deals you sign support long-term growth.

You’ll keep core partners, including Digitec, in steady contact, visiting channel customers to gather market feedback and address pricing governance or channel conflicts as they arise. You’ll manage the full sales cycle from order through to payment, monitor how each channel performs and adjust tactics to meet targets, and work with the supply chain team to keep shelf stock and shipments stable. In addition, you’ll gather market intelligence on competitors and channel activity, collaborate with the GTM team to optimise product mix and pricing, and regularly update the national manager on progress.

What you’ll bring to the table

  • More than three years of hands-on Swiss consumer electronics sales experience
  • Strong connections to local channels like MediaMarkt and Swisscom, backed by a network you can leverage
  • Fluency in both German and English, with French knowledge considered a plus
  • Over five years in B2B2C sales, with proven success opening new distribution channels
  • Comfort with hitting targets and thriving in a fast-moving work environment
  • Background in smart home or consumer electronics sectors
  • Experience taking a market from zero to one
  • Experience operating the Digitec/Galaxus platform

Pay, perks and practical details

Advice for applicants

Lead your resume with the Swiss consumer electronics sales experience you’ve accumulated, and place a concrete example of a new channel you helped bring on board at the top.

To prove the must-have skills, cite a negotiation with a major local channel (for example MediaMarkt or Swisscom) and show how you maintained relationships with strategic partners like Digitec, while detailing how you managed the end-to-end order-to-cash process in practice.

Be ready in interviews to walk through a real scenario where you expanded a channel, resolved a pricing conflict, and coordinated with the supply chain to ensure steady stock and fulfillment, including how you tracked channel performance and adjusted strategy accordingly.

Ask a sharp question about the next Swiss channels the company intends to sign and how they measure success across different channels, including pricing governance and performance metrics.
