Skyguide in Geneva is hiring a System Integration and Test Engineer (80-100%), onsite to ensure Air Traffic Management systems are safe and ready for operations. You will design and execute integration and system tests across software and hardware, develop automated test suites, analyze defects and define coverage, traceability and risk mitigation while driving continuous improvement and coordinating with engineers, suppliers and stakeholders. A degree in CS or Engineering with several years in system integration and testing is required, with strong automation skills in Squish and JMeter and Python or Java. Familiarity with ISO 15288, ED-153/109 or DO-178C is a plus. English fluency is required; French or German is a bonus. Highlight ownership of test strategy and collaboration on large projects. Your mission:
You ensure that Skyguide's Air Traffic Management systems are safe, reliable, and ready for operations. Working closely with engineers, suppliers, and operational stakeholders, you drive end-to-end verification and validation while continuously improving testing, automation, and quality standards.
Your tasks:
- Design and execute integration, system, and end-to-end tests across software, hardware, and external interfaces, ensuring safe and reliable operations
- Develop and maintain automated test suites, driving innovation and continuous improvement in testing practices
- Analyse defects, perform root cause investigations, and collaborate with suppliers and stakeholders to achieve sustainable solutions
- Define and implement test strategies, taking ownership of coverage, traceability, and risk mitigation
- Enhance test frameworks, tools, and methodologies to strengthen system-level validation and operational excellence
- Coordinate testing activities across multidisciplinary teams, fostering collaboration and transparency
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of quality standards, processes, and automation capabilities
What we are looking for:
- Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field, combined with several years of experience in system integration, verification, and testing of complex systems
- Strong expertise in test automation (e.g., Squish and JMeter) and scripting/development languages such as Python or Java, with a passion for innovation and continuous improvement
- Experience applying ISO 15288, ED-153/ED-109 or DO-178C standards is highly desirable
- Proven ability to take ownership of test strategies, verification activities, and quality outcomes in large-scale projects
- Problem solving: You analyse complex system issues, identify root causes, and approach solutions in a structured and systematic way
- Teamwork: You collaborate effectively with engineers, suppliers, and operational stakeholders, actively sharing knowledge, ideas, and insights to achieve common goals
- Proficient in spoken and written English; good command of French and/or German is an advantage
