Valence has built the only AI native coaching platform for enterprise, offering personalized, expert, and human-like guidance and support to any leader or employee. We’re not just talking about the future of work — we’re building it now, with the most innovative Fortune 500 companies across healthcare, financial services, manufacturing, and technology. Our focus is on the problems that actually decide whether AI changes how organizations operate — the ones with no playbook, no obvious answers, and no guarantee of success. If you want to be part of the small group that defines how AI transforms the future at a global scale, this is your chance. And this isn’t for everyone. We’re not looking for people who want predictability or incremental progress. We only want those who are restless at the edge of what’s possible, who get bored when things feel “done,” and who are driven to redefine what AI can mean for leaders, companies, and the world. Because at Valence, the work worth doing is the kind that redefines work itself. The RoleThis is an opportunity to build and run the operational engine behind how Valence hires and scales. You will ensure our hiring managers are prepared, our candidates have a high-quality experience, and our data is clean and usable. You will also recruit so you uniquely understand the systems you are building and refining. You will run searches, source proactively, inside a system you are constantly improving. This role is the operational nerve centre of our hiring function. If this role works well, we hire faster, with higher signal, and with less friction. If it does not, everything slows down.About ValenceWe're the only company pioneering leadership coaching for large enterprises in an AI-first way. What You'll Do
- Own the operational backbone of hiring. Manage our ATS, interview workflows, scheduling infrastructure, and data hygiene so that every search runs cleanly and efficiently.
- Coordinate high-volume, high-quality interview processes with precision. Ensure candidates move quickly, hiring managers are prepared, feedback is collected on time, and nothing falls through the cracks.
- Build and maintain the data layer behind recruiting. Track pipeline health, time to hire, conversion rates, and hiring capacity. Prepare clear reporting for leadership and ensure hiring plans translate into execution.
- Identify friction in the hiring process and remove it. Simplify workflows, tighten handoffs, clarify ownership, and improve candidate communication.
- Use AI and automation to increase leverage across the talent lifecycle. Reduce manual coordination, improve sourcing signal, synthesize interview feedback, and streamline reporting.
- Turn ad hoc recruiting activity into structured, repeatable systems. Define SLAs with hiring managers. Document playbooks. Improve discipline as hiring volume increases.
- Own full-cycle recruiting for select roles, from sourcing through close, while continuously improving the system you are operating within.
- Support onboarding and early talent infrastructure so that strong hiring outcomes translate into strong retention and performance.
What We’re Looking For
- 2–4 years of experience in recruiting, talent operations, or a high-growth environment where you were responsible for coordination, systems, and execution.
- Operationally precise. You care about clean data, timely feedback, tight scheduling, and closing loops. You notice when something is off and fix it.
- Systems-oriented. You think in workflows, handoffs, ownership, and leverage. You enjoy improving how things run, not just executing inside them.
- AI-forward. You look for ways to use AI to reduce manual coordination, improve signal quality, and increase speed without lowering the bar.
- Strong recruiter instincts. You can source and close high-quality candidates, not just move them through a process. You are confident working inside ATS systems, analytics dashboards, automation tools, and AI-enabled workflows.
- High ownership. When a role is open or a process is broken, you feel accountable for the outcome.
- Calm under intensity. You can manage high volume without sacrificing quality or candidate experience.
- Mission aligned. You are motivated to help build an AI-native company redefining how work operates.
