The Ohio School for the Deaf (OSD) is one of the oldest continuously open public deaf schools in the United States. We welcome approximately 150 Deaf and hard of hearing students to campus each year from around Ohio. We use Expanded Common Core in our classrooms and offer students opportunities to learn and grow socially and emotionally in a safe environment through extra-curricular activities.

The Ohio School for the Deaf is currently seeking passionate and dedicated teachers responsible for educating students in a well-managed and creative classroom based on research-based principles and student data.
Mission - The Ohio School for the Deaf (OSD) serves a diverse population of deaf/hard of hearing students, families, and communities through educating students in a language rich environment and empowering each individual to be a contributing member of society.
Goals of OSD:
Must maintain valid Ohio teaching licensure for grade level, subject area or special class assignment
OR
The Ohio School for the Deaf has a strong Grow Your Own program. Applicants will be considered if qualifications indicate a path to licensure for any of the above licenses.
