Crimson Global Academy seeks a Teaching and Learning Lead to lift teaching from good to exceptional. This full-time onsite role reports to the Campus Principal and Senior VP and works across CGA campuses; you’ll observe virtual classrooms, review assessments, and give actionable feedback, partner with Heads of Department to sharpen schemes of work, onboard staff, and design durable professional development. You’ll turn learning analytics into timely interventions to support or stretch students while propagating CGA’s teaching vision. The ideal candidate is an outstanding educator who loves coaching, embraces technology to serve great teaching, and uses data with humanity. In your application cite coaching wins, PD design, and measurable impact across campuses, and align with CGA values.

About Crimson Global Academy

Crimson Global Academy (CGA) is a world-leading online school with students in more than 30 countries and a teaching staff drawn predominantly from New Zealand, Australia and the United Kingdom. Every one of our teachers is a subject expert, and our strong pastoral care network ensures students learn in a safe and inclusive environment.

Students at CGA study at a level that matches their academic competence rather than their age, which means a significant proportion of our cohort is working ahead of their peer group. Combined with curriculum flexibility, cutting-edge technology and the opportunity to accelerate, CGA offers an unusually rich environment for students with the drive to excel. Our academic results speak for themselves.

What you'll actually do

You'll be the person who lifts teaching from good to exceptional. That means getting into virtual classrooms — observing, reviewing online assessment, scrutinising student work — and giving feedback that genuinely helps teachers grow. You'll partner with Heads of Department to sharpen schemes of work, onboard new staff into our instructional model, and design professional development that sticks.

You'll turn data into action: using learning analytics to spot students who need support or stretch, then working with teachers to intervene early and build real independence and resilience in every learner. And you'll help carry CGA's teaching vision across campuses — sharing what works, learning from colleagues, and feeding insights back to senior leadership to shape the bigger picture.

You might be our person if you...

  • Are an outstanding educator who lights up when others succeed

  • Believe technology should serve great teaching — not the other way around

  • Love coaching, feedback, and the craft of helping teachers improve

  • Are energised by data, but never lose sight of the student behind the numbers

  • Want your work to matter on a global scale, not just a single classroom

The essentials

Reports to the Campus Principal, in partnership with the Senior Vice President of CGA. Campus: Greenwich, Aoraki, or US. Time allocation: 5 release periods.

If you want to help build something genuinely different in education — and develop graduates ready to take on the world — we'd love to hear from you.
