Advice for applicants
Lead with your UAE national status and your bachelor’s degree at the top of your resume, followed by a concise section that highlights any classroom or school-based experience you’ve had. This helps recruiters see your eligibility and relevant background at a glance.
When you describe your must-have strengths, share concrete examples that show you can build positive relationships with students, staff and families, and illustrate how you’ve used initiative or demonstrated flexibility in a school setting. A short, recent anecdote works better than general statements.
Be ready to discuss how you supported children to become independent learners, including how you helped them stay organized, complete tasks, or participate in routines. Bring a few quick stories that demonstrate your approach to supervision, behavior management, and collaboration with a class teacher.
Have a thoughtful question prepared for the interviewer about development opportunities and safeguarding practices, for instance how the school supports new staff through coaching and training, and what the pathway looks like for continued professional growth within Cranleigh Abu Dhabi.
