The Department of Internal Affairs is responsible for the management of the Lake Taupō Harbourmaster function.  This includes managing boating facilities, the regulation and enforcement of navigational safety and administrating the Lake Taupō marinas.

 The unique and diverse role of the Team Administrator is to provide efficient and dependable administrative, financial and reception support to the Harbourmaster Office.

 Reporting to the Lake Taupō Harbourmaster, you will be responsible for:

  • Reception support, including arranging meetings, taking minutes, supporting team members, operating electronic and hard filling systems and managing information flows.
  • Administration support covering a wide range of duties including letter and report writing, ordering supplies, preparing invoices for payment, clearing debtors and managing the prosecution process.
  • Maintaining berth and mooring records, managing the administration of ramp permit sales, and maintaining good communication with all users of our boating facilities.
