Green by Nature is hiring a Team Manager to lead mowing and grounds maintenance under the Hastings District Council contract in Hastings. You will manage a Mower Operators and Edging team, collaborate with clients to exceed project objectives, and keep projects on track with strong attention to detail. The role requires leadership in horticulture, physical fitness, autonomy, and the ability to operate and maintain mowers, tractors and line markers; a full, clean NZ driver’s licence with manual capability is essential. Some weekend work during sporting seasons and a on call rotation every 6-7 weeks are expected. What experience we're looking for:

As our Team Manager, your main responsibilities will include:

• Collaborating closely with clients and stakeholders to exceed project objectives and create remarkable outdoor spaces
• Demonstrating attention to detail and exceptional organisational skills to work autonomously and meet tight client deadlines
• Manage a team of Mower Operators and Edging team members
• Utilising your mechanical expertise to operate and maintain mowers, tractors, line markers and other turf-related equipment would be advantageous

What skills we are looking for:

• A strong knowledge and passion for people leadership, a passion for horticulture would be a major bonus!
• Motivated and self-driven with the physical fitness required for the role
• Flexibility to work some weekends during the sporting seasons as theres an on call requirement every 6-7 weeks
• A full, clean NZ driver's licence and capability to drive a manual vehicle is essential
