We are looking for a dynamic and results-focused Microsoft Technical Architect for our Edmonton branch, with this role being based in Edmonton. You will utilize strong business and technical consulting skills to implement solutions that solve complex business challenges with your deep understanding of the Microsoft technology stack!
A Day in The Life:
- Design, architect and implement industry leading Microsoft technical solutions by understanding client requirements through your savvy business and technical consulting skills
- Administer detailed documentation including conceptual design, logical design, physical design, bill of materials, as-built diagrams, knowledge transfer materials, FAQs, and transition to operations information
- Act as a subject matter expert while delivering projects from initiation through to successful implementation
- Work with other Long View practices to ensure projects progress efficiently and end in a successful closure
- Assist with pre-sales engagements and qualification of sales opportunities
- Keep abreast of relevant industry certifications and accreditations as aligned with key practices and technology partners
What You'll Bring:
- 7+ years’ experience working as a subject matter expert in the Microsoft Technology stack
- 5+ years of experience in designing, deploying and supporting Microsoft technology such as Teams, SharePoint, and OneDrive
- 5+ years of professional experience across a wide range of hardware and software technologies and offerings (systems, network, server, and cloud offerings) and with complex solutions
- Experience delivering solutions to clients with a hands-on approach
- Ability to effectively communicate to different audiences clearly and concisely in written, oral and various presentation formats and situations
- Proficiency in workshop facilitation
