Verifone is seeking a full-time onsite Technical Support Representative in New Zealand to be a trusted field technician for EFTPOS solutions. You will install and upgrade payment systems, provide onsite troubleshooting and customer training, manage your daily schedule to meet service levels, and keep accurate notes on jobs and stock. You’ll work with internal teams to resolve issues quickly and identify value-added opportunities while building long-term relationships with customers in your region. The ideal candidate has 2+ years in onsite field support, strong diagnostics and training skills, effective independent work, and superb communication. As a Field Service Representative, you’ll be a trusted face of EFTPOS New Zealand in your region. You’ll work directly with customers to install, support and service payment solutions, ensuring their businesses can trade smoothly and confidently.
More than 2 years of experience in onsite/field technical support, system troubleshooting, or customer-facing technical role
Strong ability to diagnose issues, provide hands-on support, and train customers on systems and products
Proven capability to work independently, manage schedules, meet SLAs, and maintain accurate job and system records
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with a customer-first mindset and ability to identify value-add or sales opportunities
