This full-time fixed-term Technical Team Leader role at the University of Auckland’s Simulation Centre for Patient Safety asks for an experienced operations leader with a health sciences background to manage and mentor the technical support team, partner with academics and course coordinators, and shape practical clinical simulation training. We are on the lookout for a technical team leader to lead a team that provide operational, administration and technical support to the Simulation Centre for Patient Safety, Faculty of Medical and Health Sciences, at the University of Auckland. The Simulation Centre for Patient Safety (SCPS) provides for the healthcare simulation needs of students and a wide range of healthcare professionals, with the ability to provide outreach activities at clinical sites. Their goal is to improve patient safety through simulation-based education and research.
You will liaise directly with stakeholders, convenors, course directors and course coordinators to provide specialist and substantive support for academics and students on a variety of teaching and research activities at the Simulation Centre for Patient Safety (SCPS).
This is a full time (37.5 hours per week), fixed term position until the end of 2026.
The remuneration range for this role is between $87,000 - $107,500 depending on skills and experience.
