AsureQuality seeks a Technician in Residues (GC) for a 6-month fixed term at the Auckland Lynfield laboratory. You will ensure sample tests are completed within the agreed turnaround time, strictly adhere to laboratory and regulatory QA procedures, keep accurate records, and maintain a clean, orderly workspace, with weekend shifts required as the lab operates seven days a week. The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry or Food Science, preferably with GC knowledge, and thrives in a fast paced environment. Strong attention to detail, excellent time management, and being a collaborative team player are essential. We are currently seeking a Technician in our Residues (GC) Testing Team in a 6 Month Fixed Term role to cover a busy period, based at our Auckland Laboratory in Lynfield This is a great opportunity to work alongside experienced Technicians and gain experience in the Southern Hemispheres largest Food Testing Laboratory
The successful applicant will be responsible for ensuring that sample tests are carried out using the correct methods within the agreed time frames. You will have the advantage of learning on the job gaining invaluable experience.
Your key duties will involve;
Flexibility to work additional days or overtime would be ideal as our laboratory operates 7 days a week. You will be required to work one weekend day.

Bachelor of Science in Chemistry, Medicinal Chemistry or Analytical majors.
