We are seeking an experienced Test Manager to lead end‑to‑end testing for a large‑scale Cards Migration program, covering credit/debit/prepaid cards. The role is responsible for defining test strategy, managing complex test phases, ensuring regulatory compliance, and delivering a high‑quality migration with minimal customer impact across channels and geographies.

Key Responsibilities

Test Strategy & Governance

  • Define and own the overall test strategy for cards migration, including functional, integration, regression, performance, UAT, and cutover testing.
  • Establish test governance, quality metrics, entry/exit criteria, and reporting mechanisms for senior stakeholders.
  • Ensure alignment with regulatory, security, and compliance requirements (PCI‑DSS, data privacy, audit readiness).

Migration & Domain‑Specific Testing

  • Lead testing for end‑to‑end cards migration, including:
    • Card lifecycle (issuance, activation, authorization, clearing, settlement, disputes)
    • Customer data migration and reconciliation
    • BIN migrations, scheme certifications (Visa/Mastercard/Amex)
    • Switch, processor, and host system integrations
  • Validate parallel run, data validation, and reconciliation strategies to ensure zero/low customer impact.

Test Planning & Execution

  • Build and manage detailed test plans, schedules, environments, and dependencies across multiple systems and vendors.
  • Oversee system integration testing (SIT), UAT, and production readiness for migration waves.
  • Drive defect triage, root cause analysis, and quality risk management.

Stakeholder & Vendor Management

  • Work closely with business, product, technology, operations, and external vendors/processors.
  • Coordinate with card schemes, payment processors, and third‑party vendors for certifications and testing sign‑offs.
  • Provide clear status reporting, risk assessments, and mitigation plans to leadership.

Team Leadership & Delivery

  • Lead and mentor onshore/offshore test teams, ensuring consistent quality standards.
  • Drive test automation and efficiency where applicable for regression and migration validation.
  • Support cutover planning, go‑live readiness, and post‑migration validation.

Required Skills & Experience

Experience

  • 10+ years in Testing / Quality Engineering, with at least 3–5 years as Test Manager on large transformation programs.
  • Strong experience in Cards domain (Credit/Debit/Prepaid) and large‑scale migration programs.
  • Proven track record managing complex, multi‑system, high‑risk migrations.

Domain & Technical Skills

  • Deep understanding of cards processing flows, authorization, clearing & settlement, disputes, chargebacks.
  • Experience with core banking, card management systems, payment switches, and processors.
  • Knowledge of PCI‑DSS, data privacy, and regulatory compliance in payments.
  • Familiarity with test management tools (e.g., Jira, ALM, Zephyr, TestRail).

Leadership & Communication

  • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
  • Ability to make risk‑based quality decisions under tight timelines.
  • Experience working in Agile / Hybrid delivery models.
