The Role

As a Tour Guide, you’ll play a key role in delivering engaging, informative and memorable experiences for our guests. This is a highly guest-facing role where you’ll lead tours, share knowledge of the region’s natural and cultural significance, and help visitors connect more deeply with Wilpena Pound and the Flinders Ranges.

You’ll work closely with the operations and guest services teams to ensure tours are safe, well-organised and aligned with the values of Wilpena Pound Resort.


What You’ll Be Doing

  • Leading guided tours and guest experiences around Wilpena Pound
  • Sharing stories of the landscape, history, culture and environment
  • Engaging confidently with individuals and groups of varying sizes
  • Ensuring guest safety and comfort during tours
  • Assisting with tour preparation, equipment and basic admin
  • Representing Wilpena Pound Resort in a professional and welcoming way

About You

  • Confident speaking with guests and groups
  • A genuine interest in the Flinders Ranges, culture and storytelling
  • Friendly, reliable and comfortable working outdoors
  • Strong customer service skills
  • A current driver’s licence (or willingness to obtain one)
  • Previous guiding, tourism or hospitality experience is an advantage
