CBJV is seeking Trade Assistants for the Darwin Ship Lift Facility project at the East Arm precinct, Port of Darwin, with roles in mechanical trades such as Diesel Fitter, HV Mechanical and Auto Electrical. The ideal candidate will have a Certificate III in Civil Construction preferred, HR or MC license preferred, and tickets such as EWP, Working at Height and Forklift preferred, plus a current Driver’s Licence and Construction Blue/White Card. You should be able to read and interpret plans, bring a strong safety focus and attention to detail, and be a reliable team player who can also work autonomously with a commitment to safe work practices. About the Project:

Clough Projects and BMD Construction (CBJV) have joined together to deliver the Darwin Ship Lift Facility for the Northern Territory Government. This facility will be the largest ship lift in Northern Australia, serving the maintenance needs of the Department of Defence, Australian Border Force, and the maritime sector, while supporting local jobs and economic growth.

Who We’re Looking For:

CBJV seeks Trade Assistants to join our project team at the East Arm precinct, Port of Darwin. We require candidates with experience in Mechanical Trades:

• Diesel Fitter
• HV Mechanical
• Auto Electrical

About You:

• Certificate III in Civil Construction (preferred)
• HR/MC License (preferred)
• EWP, Working at Height, and Forklift Operator Licenses (preferred)
• Current Driver’s License
• Current Construction Blue/White Card
• Ability to read and interpret plans
• Strong safety focus and attention to detail
• Team player with the ability to work autonomously
• Commitment to safe work practices.
