Nutrien is seeking a Transport Safety and Regulatory Manager onsite full time in Saskatoon, SK or Calgary, AB. The role provides technical expertise and governance to enable safe, compliant transport of Nutrien’s products across road, rail and marine, including regulatory interpretation, carrier oversight, training and incident support, and driving continuous improvement of Transportation Safety requirements. You will interpret hazmat regulations for US and Canadian authorities (DoT, PHMSA, FMCSA, FRA, USCG, TDG), support classification and documentation, and partner with operations to embed safety into contracts. Ideal candidates hold a bachelor’s degree in safety, engineering, or related field, 10+ years in transportation regulatory compliance, strong leadership and communication skills, and experience with audits and data management. The Transport Safety and Regulatory Manager provides technical expertise, governance support, and operational guidance to enable the safe and compliant transport of Nutrien’s products from our Upstream operations and through our logistics and distribution activities. The role supports transport risk management across multiple modes and jurisdictions, including road, rail, and marine, and helps ensure shipments are planned and executed in line with regulatory and company requirements. This includes regulatory interpretation, carrier oversight, training and education, audits, and incident support, while also driving continuous improvement in transportation safety performance.
