Travel Connectivity and Integrations Manager
InghamsThe outdoors and travel sit at the heart of Inghams and Santa’s Lapland, and the business is expanding its Farnborough team. This Travel Connectivity and Integrations Manager role is new and will shape how the company’s platforms connect with external partners like hotels, DMCs, airlines, activity providers and channel managers. It’s a full-time, onsite post based in Farnborough, with two days per week in the office; the team is open to discussing flexible patterns, with a minimum of four days per week. The salary sits between £45,000 and £50,000 per year, and the role is a fixed-term contract for 12 months.
Inghams looks for someone who can help expand the product range and improve the customer experience by ensuring robust data exchange and smoother booking processes. The right person will blend hands-on integration work with coordination across multiple stakeholders, turning technical capabilities into real, practical improvements for partners and customers alike.
Sustainability and responsible tourism are core to the company’s values, and those who share this mindset tend to thrive in the environment here.
Bringing platforms together for smoother trips
The day-to-day focus is to establish and oversee connections between Inghams’ platforms and a range of travel suppliers, ensuring data moves reliably and bookings flow without friction. You’ll lead end-to-end integration work, from planning and testing through to go-live and ongoing maintenance, while making sure rates, availability, content and bookings stay in sync across systems. When issues pop up, you’ll troubleshoot by working with internal IT teams and supplier tech groups, acting as the main technical contact for connectivity relationships and collaborating with third parties to set up and maintain direct connections. You’ll also ensure data exchange meets required standards and service levels, support supplier onboarding so systems are ready for live operation, and partner with internal product, IT and distribution teams to improve connectivity solutions. Documentation matters here, so you’ll keep mapping guides and API specifications up to date, and you’ll coordinate with developers to prioritise enhancements and bug fixes. Ongoing duties include monitoring performance and data flow, analysing logs to spot inefficiencies, and providing management with regular performance updates while scouting new connectivity opportunities and staying informed about travel tech trends. You’ll also support automation initiatives in collaboration with the Digital Transformation Lead.

Advice for applicants
Lead with your travel tech chops. Put your experience with travel distribution systems, GDS, supplier APIs and integration work up front on your resume so the hiring team sees you’ve got the core skills they’re after.
Back up your must-have skills with concrete examples. Describe projects where you connected suppliers, maintained data accuracy across systems, and collaborated with both technical and business stakeholders to drive results. Highlight clear problem-solving outcomes and data-driven improvements.
Be ready to talk through end-to-end integration work. Prepare to discuss planning, testing, go-live and ongoing maintenance, plus how you’ve handled supplier onboarding, monitoring data flow and prioritising enhancements with developers and product teams.
Ask a targeted question. For instance, inquire about the current integration stack, the biggest data-flow pain point right now, and how this role will partner with the Digital Transformation Lead on automation initiatives. Asking about these specifics shows you’re ready to contribute from day one.
