The Role

The primary duty of the Venue Manager is to oversee all operations of Discovery Resorts – Undara food and beverage outlets. This includes the management of all staff, oversight of procedures, and troubleshooting of any operational challenges.

We are seeking an experienced, positive and passionate leader who is committed to delivering exceptional guest experiences and driving service excellence. Reporting to the Resort General Manager, your proven ability to maximise profitability and take a hands-on approach to maintaining high operational standards across the venue is essential.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Rostering, training, mentoring and building a strong team culture
  • Ensuring all guests receive outstanding service and managing feedback effectively
  • Building strong relationships with the kitchen and tours team to ensure seamless group service
  • Remaining calm under pressure and fostering a resilient, solutions-focused team
  • Managing stock control, ordering and labour costs
  • Ensuring Food Safety Standards and compliance with all safety, statutory and brand standards

This is a remote role, where you will be living and working at Undara. As such, please consider the reality of living in a remote location for an extended period of time. This role includes manual handling tasks including lifting up to 20kg, kneeling and squatting, as well as handling chemicals and utilising machinery.
