We’re currently looking for a Casual Vet Nurse to join us.

We’re a busy clinic with a moderate surgical and medical caseload, perfect for nurses who enjoy variety, hands-on nursing, and learning something new every day. Our team culture is positive, balanced, and collaborative; we support each other, share knowledge freely, and always make time for a laugh.

Why Join Us?

At Greencross Wetherill Park, you’ll be part of a clinic where your skills are valued, your development is supported, and team culture truly matters. You’ll work alongside a passionate team committed to delivering exceptional care to pets and their owners.

As part of the Greencross network, you’ll also enjoy:

  • Access to a strong clinical community and knowledge-sharing across clinics

About the Role

You’ll be involved in all aspects of general nursing, including:

  • Pre- and post-operative patient care
  • Surgical assistance, anaesthetics, and monitoring
  • Animal pathology, emergency and critical care
  • Performing minor procedures when required
  • Maintaining high standards of hygiene across the clinic and surgical areas
  • Reception and client support duties as needed

About You

To succeed in this role, you’ll bring:

  • Certificate IV in Veterinary Nursing with a minimum of 2 years’ experience
  • Availability to work Fridays, with flexibility to cover additional shifts at short notice
  • Confidence assisting with surgery, anaesthetics, and patient recovery
  • Strong animal handling skills and clinical knowledge
  • Ability to stay calm, efficient, and organised in a busy environment
  • Excellent communication skills and a client-first mindset
  • High attention to detail and accurate record keeping
  • A genuine eagerness to learn, grow, and contribute to the team
  • Experience with RX Works (advantageous but not essential)

Why Wetherill Park?

Wetherill Park offers the best of both worlds—convenience and lifestyle. Located in Western Sydney, the area is known for its ease of access, ample parking, and proximity to major road networks, making your commute simple.
