Function positioning

You will provide relationship management in the broadest sense, including the origination of products and services for financial sponsors and specialist lenders in the Financial Institutions client portfolio of MUFG Bank Europe with a focus on the Benelux and Nordic regions.

The role includes the following responsibilities:

  • Providing support to the product and sector teams based in London for relationship management of financial sponsors and specialist lenders based in the Benelux an, where applicable, Nordics region.
  • Identifying and onboarding those financial sponsors and specialist lenders based in Benelux and where applicable Nordics region in compliance with the local rules and regulations .
  • Enhancing cross sell of products with existing and new clients to increase number of products per client.
  • Supervising and managing direct reports effectively and efficiently.
  • Contributing to the innovation of products and services and simplification of the procedures of the Bank.

In order to be successful in the role, you will need the following:

  • Proven business development and relationship management experience working with financial sponsors, structured finance providers and specialist lenders.
  • Proven experience as a product specialist in the execution of structured finance products, including subscription lines, NAV facilities and ABS transactions for financial sponsors and specialist lenders.
  • University degree in a relevant discipline.
  • Preferably qualifications and courses related to the structured finance or project finance transactions.
  • Ability to manage complex transactions in the credit- and infrastructure funds space.
  • Solid understanding and experience in working with financial models and analysis of asset-based structures in the credit and infrastructure funds.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Strong problem solving and interpersonal skills.
