If so, Medium Rare Content Agency in Auckland may have just the job for you. We are looking for a creative and keen Video and Social Producer to create visually appealing and engaging storytelling for our brand partners to use on their digital, print and social channels.

Medium Rare is a leading trans-Tasman content agency owned by NewsCorp, with a talented team in Auckland. This is an intermediate role, well suited to candidates who have had more than three years’ experience.

Some of our brand partners include Resene, New World, Bunnings, MAS (Medical Assurance Society), Abstract Hotel, Z Energy and Auckland Council. Responsibilities 

  • Ideating, filming and editing videos for Instagram, TikTok, Facebook and YouTube  

  • Taking photos and editing images for website, print and social use

  • Ensuring all content is visually appealing and on-brand for our clients

  • Working collaboratively with our brand partners and the Medium Rare team to produce creative and engaging content   

Who are you?

  • A qualification in photography, videography, video editing or relevant experience

  • A portfolio showcasing your photography, videography and editing skills

  • Proficiency in Adobe CC, particularly Photoshop and Premiere Pro

  • Knowledge of camera operation, composition, lighting, and framing to capture high-quality video footage and photography

  • Familiarity with best practices for content on social platforms

  • Technically proficient with the ability to troubleshoot and problem-solve

  • Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively with colleagues

  • A professional approach to working with clients

  • Willingness to provide production support to the wider team with a particular emphasis on storing, sharing and managing large volumes of content in line with agency processes

  • Professional written and spoken English language skills

  • A vehicle and full current driving licence
