Bupa Tararu Village in Invercargill is seeking a part-time Village Assistant to help run the office, support resident welfare and organise activities, averaging about 20 hours a week with 9:00am to 3:30pm shifts and occasional Thursday evenings or a Saturday open day. The role calls for a warm, customer focused communicator who can work autonomously and in a team, with duties including administration, onboarding new residents and arranging van trips. Essential requirements include admin or customer service experience, solid MS Office skills, excellent interpersonal manners, a current NZ driver’s license with at least five years driving and willingness to drive a van, and legal entitlement to work in NZ. Ideally, we need someone with strong administration skills who has a full driver’s license and is willing to drive a van. Our residents are at the heart of what we do so you will love working with the elderly and making their lives better.
